The masonic lodge in Moreno Valley was started in 1960. Since its beginnings the lodge has always been a place of friendship and brotherly love. All men seeking to improve them selves are welcome to visit and see if freemasonry is right for you.
In 1960 Lodge Master Jesse Banta converted his home in Moreno Valley to a small Masonic Lodge.
The lodge received its official charter by the end of the year and members met in the facility on Sunnymead Blvd until it was destroyed by a fire in 1972.
In 1974 the Moreno Valley King Solomon's temple board was formed and property was purchased at the current lodges location.
Past master Robert Montee Sr donated a building that was remodeled for more room. The ground breaking ceremony was held in 1976. The following March a corner stone was laid by members of CA grand lodge.
In 1984 an additional building was acquired from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was moved and set into place to form the Fellowship Hall.
On June 14 1986 (Flag Day) the lodge erected a 50 foot flag pole and raised the largest American flag flying at any Masonic Center in the United States.
In 2009 the Moreno Valley lodge received the Mark Twain award for excellence in Masonic awareness.
On June 11th 2011 the Moreno Valley Lodge celebrated its 50th anniversary.
